I'm glad you reviewed this helmet.This helmet is awesome (for the price). I've had mine for about 2 years. The selling points for me was comfort and weight. Over the years, it's also proven to be durable and well thought out.

I also bought a Suomy (SR Sport) about a year ago and it broke 3 times :( .... Although the Suomy is comfortable and super light, is is poorly designed and not made for longevity.... I went back to the Exo 2000.

Yes! Scorpion can improve on the the quality of the visor.

I agree. I've been wearing Scorpion helmets for the last 7 years. I love them! Extremely comfortable, and love the integrated, retractable sun visor.

I dont ride a bike but started watching your vids because a friend wants to get one. Since watching, ive noticed flourescent colours are the first thing I see on any street so your points about visibility are 100% right. I will probably get one to go riding with her

I lay around the house in my helmets after getting a new one, to spend some time in it, get comfortable with it, and break it in. Just my .02

Internal fits: I am intermediate to round oval shape. my head measures 56.5 cm. I tried the small (55cm to 56cm) at first and it was hard to get it in my head. Then there is pressure and pain above my ear area. So I was thinking about return it because the internal head shape might not fit mine. In a week or so of trying it on and wiggle it around my head from time to time. The helmet now fits me tightly, the temple pain is gone. It first very snug and I rode it in about 30mins and it seems fine now.

So even though it hurts to wear it first, after it broke in, I was able to keep it. give it a couple days to trying it on and wiggling around your head. The inner liner and the foam inside of the helmet can actually mold to your head shape.

Own the same helmet! I read on RevZilla that there was a defective batch of Scorpion smoke visors. I contacted Scorpion and they were awesome and sent out a replacement smoke visor at no cost. All ya need to do is contact them via phone and send them proof of purchase via email. The replacement smoke visor is crystal clear! The gold mirror visor is next on my list. Dat bling bling yellow is nice! Stay up CycleCruza! : )
