I always enjoy listening to these letters from the Popes because it's amazing what we can learn about them, about their worries, concerns and even their joys. However, I have begun to learn that there are people in history who are not, or were not, who history has suggested they were. I am not referring to this Pope, however, or any pope for that matter. I am referring to President Roosevelt.

it is sad that the way this was read was rattled off and in a boring way . This pope was the greatest a true saint and responsible for the conversion of thousands including me mainly by his great humility charity and spirituality and a great example to all.

My only issue with Pope Pius XII is that he was rather ambiguous in his condemnation of the Nazis, many say he had to be due to the fact that he was surrounded by fascist Italy.
