For Ableton Live users looking to purchase this I would recommend waiting until version 10.0.3 has been released, you cannot use the DAW controls until the control surface for the MkII has been integrated.

Today I've got my Keylab MK2 49. Without any doubt - that's the best keyboard for my DAW full of Arturia Plugins ever! After many famous brands I've used over the last 25 years like Akai, NI, Novation and what ever - that's absolutely the best studio workflow improvement! Absolutely amazing! Great Job Arturia!

Ive just brought the 49 after trialing a bunch of similar keyboards. The build quality is outstanding when you have them all lined up next to each other. Ppl give this a hard time for the lack of a sequencer, but its solid integration with all your other sequencers is excellent (aka, your daw and perhaps the Minibrute if you want to splash out). The only annoyance is how the faders are on the wrong side, but Im getting used to contorting my arms across each other slowly.

with a better display the buttons of the "DAW Commands" could be used
more flexible by displaying the actual functionality on the screen
instead of using dedicated/physical overlays; e.g. for using these
buttons also to assigne midi-functionality in the "User" mode for pure
hardware control
