What's worse is the "farmers, " that are "abusing subsidies, " are not the farmers, but the corporations that have learned to play the system. The farmers are the ones getting screwed, while the corporations abusing the system will likely be allowed to continue to do so.

My understanding of what I read in Project 2025 is that they want to reduce the number of small farms and consolidate into Big Ag. Unfortunately, most of the small farmers I know wouldn’t believe me if I told them. They tend to be Trumpers, incredibly enough.

I work for an organic farmer in MA. All of our food is organically grown and we sell mostly straight to families. Insurance is already high. This would be devastating.
