YouTube's first ever 12K resolution video uploaded!
This video has been uploaded to YouTube in 12K resolution (12288 x 6912 pixels).
It is in WebM (VP9) format. What will YouTube's system do with it?

Note: Until 12K resolution is officially supported by YouTube the highest resolution playable on YouTube for this video will be 8K.

Just to quickly test if YouTube's upload system would ingest a video with such a large resolution it was made from an 8K resolution video that was upscaled using FFMpeg.

360p: Quality is better, but not as horrible as the last two others
480: Quality is improved and just better but not good
720p (HD): Quality is decent, but not the best.
1080p (HD): Ok, the quality is just one of the best.
1440p (HD): Quality is better than 1080p (HD) and just good.
2160p (4K): Quality is just over the roof
4320p (8K): Oh. My. God. The quality is just skyrocketing, this quality is just exquisite, absolutely one of the qualities that you can watch for more than a single year.

this is a 4:3 format video mirrored 4 times. The actual image captured is approximately 1/4 of the screen.
