Why would you only use it for safety a couple times a year? I use mine almost every time I am out at night or un fog for safety. Even on a clear day I use it to plot targets for collision avoidance.

How far can you accurately mark birds on the dome?

Don’t expect a HALO 3 to park correctly if you have the Simrad NSO EVO3S. I just got the system and per simrad tech support park radar option has been eliminated because it wouldn’t work. So I have this high dollar duel screen system with Halo 3 and it just stops where it stops. Simrad tech support also didn’t think there was even a software update fix planned. They told me that it didn’t work on this unit so the option was just taken out. WTH??
