Thank you for a great video, interesting to know a bit of the history / background. I really enjoyed this format, it must have taken quite some time to edit. Glad you kept the Dr Hibbert laugh at 10:30 though 😉.

Excellent introduction to the background of Spice - looking forward to future episodes of this series. I find the models in LTSpice can be a bit off and the tool is a nightmare to work with, at least on MacOS. Even finding and installing new models is unnecessarily complex and you'd think that after all these years it would come with staples like LM7805 models that are accurate. I have Microcap on the back burner to try and learn. I guess noise analysis might be somewhat in the future but that really interests me right now.

Been using the LT and Tina for a while now. I even tried circuit lab for some basic stuff. Haven't used Micro cap much because it was too expensive for the longest time. Interested in seeing how in depth you take this. I only scratch the surface. Maybe eventually you could compare accuracy of a simulation vs some real world bench testing.

Three only spice i remember is old spice and the spice girls. "If you wanna know my current, you gotta click the nodes on those pads"

Honestly, i would have been so screwed in the old days. I get frustrated figuring out the modern, hand holding, demos, walkthroughs, and graphics programs 🤣

So at the end of the course do we get a Spicy Kiss Diploma? I am sure my wife will be impressed. (Yeah she puts up with a LOT of my silliness)
