Thanks a lot, I was looking for the first tip how to take the columns I see with the mouse hover, but I also learned much more.

Brilliant! I’ve been working SQL Server since 7.0 and the various interfaces. I’ve been working with SSMS for so long that I thought, ‘eh, pretty certain I know my way around it I’ll check it out.’ I’m open to learning something to make me more efficient.
‘F7’ was quite interesting. Didn’t know that before this. I didn’t know you could drag “Columns” to the editor or hover over * to see the columns in the SELECT list.
The clipboard ring was a new thing for me.
I spend a lot of time tuning queries and in the execution plan. I’ve known about that little + for a while. Good to show others.
Still tripping out over the ‘F7’ details.
I typically write scripts to write scripts for me. Script out the dropping or creation of constraints, or any object, for that matter, generation of c# code for a stored procedure/function. It’s a lot faster to write a T-SQL statement to do the repetitive work for me. I give it an object name and milliseconds later, I can copy and paste.

Thanks SDU. I learned a couple of useful tips from this though I've been using SSMS for several years. Do you have tips for Data Studio?

Great video. Thanks. Even though this is a year old, I have a question. I have a folder on one drive where I wrote code, but I can't find it using explorer. How can I search for code in *.qry files? Thank you!

Well, it would be great to follow the instructions and everything being said there but without an existing/accessible data base the commands will remain theoretical.
