You just gave me an idea on minute 10:04 I'm going to mount a couple of the metal blocks and put two in the front and rear to make some swivel seats on my homemade boat. I thought about what it was for at first.

I'm wondering about that piece that you weld on the minute of 5:50 if you sharpen the front as sharp as a knife would that cut the weeds better maybe?

Do you have any magnets hanging around. Made you a homemade ground magnet this could solve some of your welding start ups of issues of the welding rod sticking.

I attached my magnet to the existing clamp ground so if I'm welding stainless steel I then use the clamp

I'm sure you know about welding galvanized steel and how it can make you very sick if welding it. I now use the cutting disk when working with galvanized metals are cutting with a torch.
