Natascha Hedrich was our Guest Speaker at the Science Slam Basel 2022.
Natascha is a physicist and experienced science communicator. She studied physics and math in Canada, quantum optics at ETH Zurich, and did her Ph.D. in quantum sensing at the University of Basel. Now she is a PostDoc at ETH Zurich and the Swiss Science Center Technorama in Winterthur, where she supervises the development of a new exhibit, which allows users to view single atoms by eye.
In September 2022, Natascha won the FameLab final in Switzerland with her excellent talk “Quantum tunneling - See you on the other side?”. She represented Switzerland at the FameLab International final at the Cheltenham Science Festival.
