What did a family member do that made you cry?

Growing up, my little brother always followed me around, copying everything I did. It drove me crazy. When I started learning guitar at 14, he begged our parents for one too. I thought he'd give up quickly, but he practiced almost everyday. Last year, I was diagnosed with a degenerative nerve disease. Within months, I lost the ability to play. I fell into a deep depression, my guitar gathering dust in the corner. One day, my brother came to visit and without a word, he picked up my old guitar and started playing my favorite song - the one I'd been working on when my hands stopped cooperating. I cried as I listened to the melody I thought that I wont be able hear again. Now my brother comes over every week. We sit together, and through his fingers, I can still make music. I've never told him, but those afternoons are the brightest part of my week. I guess sometimes the most annoying things about our siblings can become our greatest blessings.

He was not copiying he was looking up to like you are his hero and he wanted to make you proud

You should tell your little brother about the happiness, joy and pleasure you get from him visiting you every week and him playing your melody on your guitar.
Tell him how you are experiencing life and happiness through his weekly visits before it is too late to tell him.
And, you end up spending the rest of your life regretting your decision to keep procrastinating instead of telling him.

That’s really wholesome I’ve never had a family member make me cry but once my youngest step sister was picking flowers and giving them to me I said “wow there so pretty” to make her happy she said “just like you” it made me so happy 🥹

I have a story of when my older cousin made me cry. I was ten years old when my grandma had died from cancer, at the funeral I looked to the middle of the room at the wall where the coffin was and there stands my cousin sadly looking back at her mother asking her something then she goes up to the open coffin and holds my grandmothers hands one last time. I'm still crying to this day😭

Story:

It was my b-day yesterday (w my family) the invited a special guest it was my friend. My cousin came an hour later bc his lil brother was sleeping. When he came he was shy like always. After a few mins he wasn’t shy anymore and we where playing togheter with my friend and dad he got all the attention even tho it was my b-day he ruins all the family things for me. Sins he was born my b-days weren’t fun anymore😢

I'm happy it ended well and he didn't just get upset that his brother could still do the thing he had originally loved.
