That ending scene will always remain the perfect and most beautiful end to any saga.

Endgame had the best audience reactions of any movie I've ever seen. From Tony dying to the dance scene, you could hear crying from every corner of the theater. An emotional ride for every fan from beginning to end.

I think is was the perfect way to end the saga, a beautiful and moving scene that is foreshadowed well by other events in the movie.

I also heartily disagree with those who say this somehow “betrays” Steve Roger’s character and commitment as Captain America. It was an honest, human moment, and one that was well-earned.

I truly loved this being the final scene in Endgame. I had actually thought at some point maybe Steve and Peggy would get back together but always dismissed it as too great to really happen. It just was such a great way to wrap up Captain America's story!!

I feel it would have been a FAR better ending if Peggy was at the dance at the time and place she arranged with Steve, fully not expecting him to turn up but came anyway. Then she turns around and sees him standing there across the floor looking at her smiling. She looks shocked but happy, and she rushes over to him and they hug each other and start to dance as it fades out.

It was NICE that Peggy and Steve got their dance, wonder what else they got up to.

I would have prefered that Cap died with Iron Man, they didn't lose together, but they would have been more together in victory.

I have been watching the MCU since the beginning, and I think that the Steve Rogers/Captain America ending in Endgame was totally out of character for him, destroyed his character arc, and contradicted the integrity of all his previous films. Not only that, but in that process, they managed to erase Peggy Carter's character arc and development as well, smh. It made no sense to me.
