Phineas and Ferb & You - A Brand New Reality at Downtown Disney

A look at a temporary free attraction at Downtown Disney West Side. Phineas and Ferb and You - A Brand New Reality lets guests interact with characters from the Disney Channel cartoon on a big screen in one of 20 different scenes. Guests can then go to a website to download their photo taken at the end of the experience. The attraction is open from 2 to 9:30 p.m. each day through Dec. 1.

There's nothing science fiction about it. Reactive character routines have been standard fare in video games for years. Just look at Microsoft's "Kinectimals." This would be even easier to do with these characters because they're just flash vectors and the people are in front of a green screen. It's not a question of technology, it's a question of how much effort Disney is willing to put into the programming.
