Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles has welcomed the bilateral defence agreement deal between the United States and Papua New Guinea.

“I think it’s really good that we are seeing America becoming more and more engaged in the Pacific region and specifically with Papua New Guinea,” Mr Marles told Sky News Australia.

“I think a growth in the PNG-America relationship is only good from an Australian point of view.”

😅Finally US has planned to put their defence in South Pacific especially in PNG compete with China investment in PNG and South Pacific. Lots of China money currently invested in PNG and South Pacific as it’s for the purpose of economy stronger together from many countries that has been getting investment from China especially jobs. It’s like China plays monopoly games but in a real and US and their allies keep their old style game in defence only but not invest more money to those countries for the better of those countries economy too. 💙
