Baron Roman Von Ungern-Sternberg is remembered as the Mad Baron of Mongolia, the ultra-monarchist Russian army general who believed himself to be the reincarnation of Genghis Khan, and the god of war. Many wonder if the baron was a visionary, or merely a psychopath, but we want to answer a different question.

Of course the Mad Baron was eventually defeated by the Bolsheviks during the Russian Civil War, but what if that changed? What if in an alternate timeline Baron Ungern succeeded in establishing his Neo Mongol Empire? Who was Roman Von Ungern-Sternberg, and what would his life had been like had he survived?

Tying into the Scar Nicholas Saga, this is the fourth installment of the Scar Nicholas series.

The world probably would've been a much better place if these scenarios were canon and our history became the hypothetical alternative.

Monsieur Z probably would've created an entertaining hypothetical world where Adlof Hitler gets rejected from art school and becomes the dictator of Germany and creates the third Reich, Stalin becomes an atheist and starts reading Lenin's writings, Bolsheviks take over Russia and create a "Communist Union with surrounding republics", Stalin takes over and starts his purge. The bloodiest war in human history begins and ends with Germany, Italy and Japan's defeat. Thus leading to a cold war involving influences and proxy wars, China falls to communism due to a civil war, space race with the "Communist Union" sending the first man to space and the US sending the first man to the moon, Iran falling to an Islamic revolution, invasion of Afghanistan, a nuclear catastrophe in Socialist Ukraine, the fall of the "Communist Union" leading to many republics declaring independence, and starting the America's sole hegemony in the world, starting of the gulf war by a middle eastern dictator and his overthrowing by a coalition of US and it's allies, some KGB agent becomes the new leader of Russia, a terrorist attack takes place in New York killing around 3, 000 people, invasion and occupation of some parts of the middle east and Afghanistan, the US electing it's first black president, a celebrity becoming a president for his contraversial views, a new pandemic from China takes over most of the world causing over a million deaths and plenty of boredom, a riot taking place on the White House because an old politician with dementia became the new president. The KGB agent we talked about earlier starts to get funny ideas and invades Ukraine.


Had the Scar Nicholar saga been the canon of our timeline, most of us probably would've laughed at Monsieur Z or even called him crazy for making up such a crazy but entertaining scenario (with the "Communist Union" collapsing and the US becoming the sole superpower clearly showing his American bias), but such is the nature of reality, what is canonically real doesn't have to be proven as they have already taken place, and what is fictional would certainly require some logic to hold on to.
