When we got our dog, the breeder told us to feed him a raw diet. That made sense to me. But at the first vet appointment they told us that is risky and we should be feeding kibble (oh and they would sell us that kibble). I was very confused but thought the vet must know better. A few months later I could no longer go against my own common sense and switched. My reasoning was what you mention here - how can a 100% processed diet possibly be healthy? Later my brother switched his 10 year old dog to raw. The dog had behavioural issues which improved noticeably with the switch in diet. Totally unexpected. And its coat because much softer and nicer to pet. I think there are all kinds of benefits. And shame on the veterinary industry.

I wish to have her as my vet for my pets better than my vet who have no knowledge of nutrition. Also, they sell only dry food kibbles. Any way I can find vet likes her in my area?

Lets mention the Shar Pei here, my favorite breed and one of the sickest of any. Shar pei have issues no other breed has. I just lost my precious boy Monty at only seven years old due to serious complications from SPAID. I wish i had learned more sooner, he might still be alive😭💔 I am so sorry bubba...
