Grant's Getaways: Digging Oregon Sunstones

Показать описание
Oregon’s desert is a vast stretch of the state where distances are great and people are few – but if you know where to look, there are remarkable treasures waiting to be found.

When the Spectrum Sunstone Mine rock hopper fills up and the generator fires up the conveyor belt gets your hopes up: that Oregon’s state gem, sunstones, will roll past you by the hundreds.

Grant, I really love your presentations. And, it is nice that you plug the businesses and the website.

Any body see ' s this in june of 2020 we are open and everything is great, lots of stones lots of happy customers . Dont get skunked by going to other fee dig sites . We have everything from free digs to belt runs to high grade bucket loads, high grade belt runs, showers bathrooms and great drinking water. Bring your sunscreen, pack out your garbage and make sure your spare tire has air in it ! Come dig at spectrum in 2020 !

I have dug in the free BLM site a couple of times. If you like to dig and be a rock hound there isn't a better place to go, not only for the fun of what you might "dig up" but for the peace and solitude that can be hard to find in this busy go, go, go world.

I love this intro version of Grant's Getaways. Way better than the new rendition on KGW.

There are also green and blue sunstones, which are even more rare and valuable than the red and orange ones.

very nice. I myself don't wear sunglasses when I'm rockhunting, it's easy to miss gems that way.

Thanks for sharing this video and info with us 😊. I'm encouraged to visit and explore nature's beauty and gems. What is entailed with the digging and/or exploration expedition? Thanks.
