Focusing too much on foreshadowing isn't a good thing in exchange for refusing to elaborate on the characters and world building. Especially when you tease very relevant politics! Like why doesn't the Japanese government never take an interest into cursed energy as an alternative energy source despite being aware of jujutsu society and involved with it? Why make sorcerers a secret when you can make them an official service for public safety to make mitigating any problems regarding jujutsu easier?
