Shark do you know why Endermans are so smart?? Because endermans are humans. Do you noticed the Endermans can speak? The sound they are speaking is actually a language, and do you noticed that endermans can pick up blocks like humans?? So yeah there is a theory that endermans are humans because when they accidentally spawned the wither they had to run somewhere and the only place they can think of is the end. So when they went in there they saw there's no way out so that's why, they had no food left and they had to eat the chorus fruits in the end then that's what makes them into Endermans. Then they forgot how to use items so they just put it in the chests in the end City and the in the language you can hear *look for the eye* that means they want you to save them from the end because they've been trapped there for so long, so yeah that's the theory that and the endermans are humans. And yes thats why the achievement is called *free the end*

Quick suggestion endermen can't walk over candles or amethyst or anything like that because of how their and its hit boxes are it like how a villager can't walk through a door with carpets in front of it so its just because of hit boxes

The reason ender man didn’t walk on the candle and the amethyst shards is because the AI doesn’t see the candle as a walkable block and this goes for every mod

Endermen and other hostile mobs don't actually register in blocks like candles, caprets, and such, so if you have carpets and underneath them just void, then they won't go across, because they don't see the carpet. Same with candles.
