Lierenshop Seilwindenshop Tests Pull Master PL 1 Freefall 5

We have tested to see the minimum weight of freefall for PL1 D of Pull Master. They are used for boatswords. This minimum is appr. 60 kg for the winch to get the drum in free spin. The winch can do 500 kg hoist. This minimum weight for freefall is not affected by changing the brake plates neither of the main brake nor for the drumbrake of the freefall section.
So this experiment has not brought the solution hoped for.
1) Advise: Bring in more weight into the boatswoard at the "ijzeren halve maan"
2) Advise: Donot hoist at the normal end point of the sword "ijzeren zandloper" but at a point nearer the hinge. This is always used for hoisting by hand is then less heavy at the cost of more hoisting length and is old thinking. If you take the middle of the sword it will double the needed force ( probably more than 60 kg ) but rope length will be half. Since the winch can do 500 kg this is no issue.
