THIS is the PORSCHE I Would BUY! Flat Out in the SSR CS GT4 RS

I'm at the Red Bull Ring to see how SSR Performance have turned the already incredible Porsche GT4 RS into a perfect machine! This is the new SSR CS, a 718 Cayman GT4 RS dialled up with bigger aero, serious downforce, reworked suspension; a lighter and more portent package.

It's SSR's private track day at the Red Bull Ring in Austria which means an opportunity to drive the new CS and enjoy the sights and sounds of both the race cars, and customers, enjoying the F1 track. Firstly, we are re-joined by Timo for a full discovery tour of the Clubsport version of the GT4 RS, to really understand the idea behind it, the modifications that SSR have made, and what I'm in for.

Then of course, it's time for me to get behind the wheel in the SSR CS. Having previously driven the GT4 RS and been absolutely blown away, it's safe to assume this is going to be quite something. Out on track with numerous Porsche GT cars; GT3 RS, GT2 RS etc, it's quite the set of laps before the day's weather begins to turn nasty.

Everything about this car is spot on. The look, the amazing down force, the sound and tone of the engine, the gear changes whether up or down, and it sticks to the race line as if running on rails. Amazing all round.

I wasn't fan of 911s until I drove a 997 AWD at Thruxton, certainly love them now. 😊 I've got the Lego GT3 RS to remind me, and loved the sights n sounds of the Carrera Cup sessions at Thruxton BTCC races.
