Interesting, and I feel a bit let down as in this video you are using the HEADPHONE out to send audio to amp, rather than XLR, the headphone out amp won't give as good a HiDef sound.... it would be good if this board had RCA out instead of XLR out. It is possible to convert XLR to RCA via cables?

We need measurements for this DAC. Anyway, i'd buy an SMSL D-6s before that for a bit more money. You'd get high end performance, integrated power supply with IEC plug and balanced output.

What amplifier are you using? It looks very clean on the front.

could you break down what the USB stick is doing in this case if there's a SD card included, apologies if this is a simple question, very new to this!

Would this be a useful setup for making a CarPi? This would be perfect to get an RCA type output to make connection to car amplifiers.

A server-quality power supply to power the DAC board (and Pi via the headers) is a better choice for audiophiles: the RasPi PS isn’t as well made or regulated, and may not output enough current comparatively.

Music is too loud - common mistake. Improve your presentation: completely remove music.
