i always thought i was a winter but this makes so much sense! i have fair, neutral skin that becomes much warmer in the summer, medium golden brown hair, and grey ish blue eyes. your explanation of fluctuating between warm and cool depending on seasons and greyness levels makes so much sense!

So interesting. I'm a soft Autumn and born in mid September. My mom Is a true winter and born in January. Just made that connection when you were comparing soft Autums and September. I know you can be born any month and be any season but I thought that was interesting :)

Ive always worn true to deep winter/deep autumn colors and always wondered why my hair and skin looked so gray and sickly

Omg! I never thought somebody could describe me better! I am a chamaleon and my skin does get warmer in the summer and gold looks better on me and in winter i look gray, I've always envied people that are always blushed naturally like my husband, always pink or peach, I am mostly sallow, slightly yellow gray, I've really struggled to accept that grayness i dont like it! It looks dead, I tend to add blush and pink lips so that I feel alive,

Thanks a lot for the explanation. I am still a bit confused but leaning towards soft autumn color type. But there are a few things that don't fit this type:

1. Facial coloring and hair: I definitely have greyish blue eyes but a yellow greenish thin line around irises. My skin is pale greige in winter, it's very hard to get tan but I don't burn much and if I manage to get a bit tan, I look amazing. My hair is rather neutral brown but nature elements (sun, wind, etc.) add chestnut-golden tone, which then clashes with my skin and neutral brown eyebrows, especially when my skin is greige pale. My lips are a bit coldish dusty rose but when I wear warmer dusty rose lipstick, it makes me look more radiant.
2. Too light pastels or too dark colors without brown or grey overlay, don't suit me. Soft autumn camel colors don't look good either.
3. Light gold suits me best. If it is more yellow gold than I need to add pears. Silver washes me out though.

Overall, a pretty challenging case since I seem to be a walking contradiction :D Need to save some money to get a personal stylist advice and be frustrated in the meantime :D

I believe I am a soft autumn but love black and cannot wear yellow or orange. Everything else is me. I can get away with either gold or silver, but rose gold is my favorite.
