C++ / MFC Programming : SendMessage / PostMessage - Windows Communication | Live

Me preparing a lesson about SendMessage / PostMessage and how the windows can communicated with each others.

A simple program with rectangles and if the user presses one of the rectangles then a Button or a Edit box appears near that box with information about the click. Just to demonstrate how windows can communicate.

I never use mfc or c++ before but I was assigned to handle old project which was create by visual studio 2005. Now i open it with visual stidio 2010 no error but the send message function not work, i log it before sendmessage the Handle window has value but on receiver there nothing come. Please advice sir.

Hi Pekka, thanks for all the MFC videos. Personally I love the MFC framework because it is native to MS Windows, sure, I know there are Windows forms, .NET, Qt, wxWidgets etc., But in your opinion, is MFC still worth learning as of May 2021 ? Could MFC completely go out of date and be obsolete soon? Thanks.

sir iam using visualstudio 2012 when i tried to include optional header file iam getting fatal error there is no such file in directory what can i do sir if i want to add optional header file
