Sir Keir Starmer has officially become UK prime minister following an audience with King Charles III at Buckingham Palace in London.

The King formally asked the Labour leader to form a government and become prime minister.

It follows Labour’s landslide victory in the UK general election – ending 14 years of Conservative government.

What a brutal blow to Sunak and the Tories. This election is definitely a kick in the underbelly of the Tories. The ppl. are really angry and dispise the Sunak Gov. It did show that they do not believe him to be better than Starmer. Honestly both are non electable to me..but you have to choose the least bad and hatred after all.
