In 2007, my husband and I who were both pastors in the UMC left the church because we both experienced an increasing awareness of the growing GBLT++ inclusiveness. We were told we didn’t belong and we’re not a part of the connection. When we spoke out against abortion and homosexuality we were labeled bigots. Although the road has been tough for us on many accounts, I thank Holy Spirit everyday for awakening us to the demonic takeover and freed us from oppression of the governing body of the UMC.
