I had this same surgery 6 months ago. Insurance covered the majority of it. I am a doctor and performing surgery on my patients became intolerable for me. Driving my stick shift hurt. Buying nice clothes was nearly impossible. I lost 6.6 pounds of breast tissue and am so much happier. I woke up from surgery a much more confident person. I told the medical staff I had not seen my feet since 1982! I am back at my profession and my life again. So grateful!

I cant believe even with the doctor saying its medically necessary for her health yet, insurance still will not pay for surgeries like this! The insurance people should walk around holding 16 pounds strapped to their chests! So happy to her happy and healthy!!

My sister had to have the same procedure in the early 80s.

Thanks for sharing! I just had my consultation June 13th now waiting to here back from my insurance. I’m a size 54 H but actually think I’m bigger. That’s just the biggest cup Lane Bryant had at the time. I’ll try and I keep you all posted.

It's difficult to get insurance to agree on something medically necessary.
I'm approximately 4'11" and 40G, with horrible pain, uncomfortable slepless nights, and clothing issues.
