I have the 720. How do I switch off the touch sensitive keys so that I can play synth and string sections without the touch sensitive keys increasing or decreasing the volume level which is very annoying. I have the older prs GX 76 and it has a simple button to switch the touch sensitive keys off. I thought my 720 would have had this but I don't see it.

It’s definitely a good arranger keyboard! I really like Yamaha and I actually own a Tyros 4 that is 12 years old and it is clear that it has evolved very (too much?) little in terms of sounds and innovations! The multi-pads, for example, are exactly the same as those I own and are still not editable! That would be such a nice addition!! Yamaha should really think about changing or evolving its AWM 2 technology, qualitative but aging, and renew certain sounds! This is seriously starting to be seen and heard!

Was contemplating between 920 vs 720. These are the difference I found :

1. Better speaker ( depends on type of use, but good to have )
2. More memory (would be useful few years down the road)
3. Vocal harmonies ( again depends on usage)
4. Super Articulation ( useful but may not be a game changer for many)
5. Bluetooth ( always useful)
6. Audio loops expansion (only works with sx-920)
7. More voices & styles ( not a game changer)
8. Display out - ( not a game changer)


Extra features are definitely good but don’t know worth the additional price or not.. If one changes keyboard frequently then 720 is the way to go else 920, would be my verdict.

harapan kami khususnya pengguna keyboard yamaha yang tunanetra, untuk voice guide nya harap dikembangkan. sebab kami yang tunanetra mengalami kesulitan dalam pengoprasian keyboard yamaha, dikarnakan keyboard yamaha psr sx menggunakan layar sentuh. mungkin bisa bekerjasama dengan pembaca layar seperti nvda talk back dan lain nya.

hi.. bought the sx 920, but cannot install all the free expansion packs that my old sx 900 had, tried with the YEM also but not working

I own the original sx700, a most beautiful keyboard for playability so easy to use arranger, for those like myself who don't require frills that are on the sx900. It's ideal. I can't wait for the new series sx720 & sx920

Damn, I paid extra for the PSR SX920 and apparently there is no difference between the 920 and the 720. 👽👽👽

Mah...praticamente è una Tyros4, con batteria un po migliorata, anzi...la vecchia Tyros4 suona tuttora meglio.
