Marshadow's shiny change is only visible when attacking. From green to purple. It's kind of like how Zekrom/Reshiram works, their tails have different colors of electricity or fire when attacking.

The purple wurmple was the first shiny I ever hunted, killed, kept hunting and found again 2 encounters later and finally caught. (In ORAS, no shiny charm) and I have to say.... I named it Purple Nurple from Chowder lol
