I like how in Poetry with a Blade, the spirit told Yi that Wuju could cut a mountain, or even the whole world, but that Yi, being a human, can barely scratch a giant's blade with Wuju. Fast forward to Yi slicing a giant's sword in half with ease a few minutes later.
