How long before I see the final result with botox?

Welcome back to Advance Answers. My name is Leah Brunie, everybody, and I'm a Nurse Practitioner that loves to give Botox to my patients. Another question I get. How long until I see the final result of the Botox? You do not see it right away. Neuromodulators such as Botox relaxes muscles and keep them working from their full capacity, thereby reducing the wrinkles they cause. Botox usually takes effect anywhere from about three to five days after your treatment, though, it can take up to a full 14 days for your full results become apparent.

If after 14 days, you're experiencing movement where you're treated, we ask you to come in for a follow up appointment and provide a couple more units and assess your treatment area.
