Play Test Review: adidas X 16+ Purechaos SG vs. Nike Mercurial Superfly V Anti Clog

Soft ground fields is something every player faces at some point in their playing career. Over the years, soft ground cleats have evolved to become what they are today. Now, adidas and Nike both are making soft ground cleats easily accessible for players across the U.S. by offering their top of the line cleats with a SG stud configuration. With these now being available on SOCCER.COM, I was eager to see how the two different SG sole plates compared on the field.

In soft ground cleats, I look for them to be lightweight, have a snug lock-down, and a responsive sole plate. Purechaos best suits my style from this selection. Size US 9.5.

I think that soft ground cleat would work best for me because I mostly play on wet rainy fields. I also think that SG gives better comfort, better traction, better lock down, and a better all-around feel. I would choose the Adidas X because I think that I need a flexible sole plate, but I also like to have my laces tucked away. The Adidas X fits all my needs and I think that it's all around better than the Nike Mecurial. The Adidas X will allow me to make better plays and with it's amazing touch I'll be able to create many opportunities for my team. I am a very big fan of Luis Suarez and I know that he where is the Adidas X line, and if it works for him to work splendid for me. The look of the Adidas X it's also top class, I love the color way and how Adidas think outside of the box. Right now I am using the Adidas X 15 yellow and I'm loving them, I can't imagine how much better they be now since they are new and improved. This SG cleat would allow me not to slip on the pitch, and it would give me maximum stability and comfortably. It is important that when I'm playing on a wet muddy field so that I am still attentive and that I have good boots that will keep me stood upright. I think that the Adidas X Purechaos would allow me to be on my best performance unlike all of the other players on the pitch. The traction is not the only thing that is good about the Xs. They have great comfort, lockdown, touch, lacing system, and much more. They would allow me to be the BOSS on the pitch and since I am a deadly CF they would allow the score bangers. Gareth Bale is one of my favorite players, and he wears these boots, I have a similar playing style to him and so that's another reason why these boots would fit me so well. These boots would have great ground penetration and would grant me access to sprint as fast as I would on a dry pitch. Overall these boots are 100% perfect for me. what I see in a sg cleat is how good the traction is and I would like the mercurial sg 9.5

To be honest, as long as there's no stud pressure and I feel comfortable especially when it comes to under my foot then I'm good to go. Comfort is the main goal and with that being said, I think the Pure Chaos would do that for me.

What I look for in a soft ground cleat is great traction in rainy/wet/muddy conditions and having little amount of mud build up in the studs. The Mercurial Superfly 5's best fit my game because I feel more they have great comfort, traction and overall feel when playing. Being a forward/attacking midfielder, the Superfly 5 are my preferred cleat selection.

I am a fast-paced striker and I play in very wet muddy conditions, and my current cleats don't have any system of keeping the mud off of my soleplate. I'm used to taking shots, cutting, passing, and most importantly making runs. I think that with the anti-clog coating when dampened will keep all that mud off of the soleplate. It will give me that extra edge to beat my opponent, and give me the opportunity to score. The Nike Superfly 5 also will give me tremendous stability so that I can plant my foot and make a cutting-edge pass to my teammate. These qualities that come with the Superfly 5s will overall make me a better player, and I think that I will be more motivated to become better than my opponent. I look for traction to maintain my ability to deffend occasionally to turn in any direct quickly without slipping. Having the advantage from those cleats that contan mud and other material on the sole plate which make them heavier and lose traction. The X 16+ is my choice.

What i look in a sg soccer boot most is the traction and making sure that i don't slip that can really determine a game and the one that would fit my play-style the most is the super-fly because of the strike of the ball and the comfort
