I never heard of this cake until tonight but since I can't do dairy, all the butter and milk in the other recipes stopped me cold. I see yours doesn't use butter! Only question I have is how big is the dish you use in inches? I have a couple of 13 X 9 inch pans and I'd probably use them with a boxed banana cake mix or muffin mix made and put on top of the caramel and banana slices. I clicked the link to the dish you used but it didn't say which was which. Thanks for your help! I'm sort of lucky in a way that I didn't see this one earlier tonight or I would have dashed right out to the store to get what I'd need and give it a go! I'll probably make this tomorrow after making a recipe for Mushroom Biryani from Cook With Manali!
