This video was made in 48hours without breaking any lockdown rules
The actor had to film himself and send the files to the editor online.
Although we enjoyed working on this project, we made this video so that people know they are not going through these troubled times alone
Isolation poem
without a puff or a drop near my lips
i wander through these empty outside walls
looking for a signal or connectivity that will define the state of solitude i did not choose or want
in some instances home is where the devastated of heart is
and if charity knocks upon my door will i open and let her in even if she has empty bags, but a pure heart
will it feed the need of empty begging hands in order to blossom like the first dew in the much anticipated spring
with the flick of a single switch it feels like winter came early this year
dragging my, oh so weary feet through these echoing hallways
yelling in silence for 20 seconds instead of making myself clean
as numbness creeps in, the sound of water hitting the basin is like a megaphone of a few sentences of the following truth
am i really a soldier behind this mask
will i have enough?
Will i be enough?
and so, as the curtain of the next day opens
I remember the brave, the courageous and the willingness
they came to cheer when the end is not near but that i will always have more than someone i do not know
