I looked it up. It takes between 30- 45 seconds for the lobster to die from boiling water. It is completely safe to kill the lobster seconds before boiling it. And yes they do feel pain

So it’s true they don’t scream, it’s steam escaping from their shells. However they do biologically speaking have a weird form of pain receptors, so it’s a good practice to cut into the base of the head and neck to insta kill them. Totally painless. Then proceed to boil 😁

You should try adding lime to that butter, it makes a huge difference. Ever since I tired it with lime ive never ate shellfish with out it.
