Corned beef is beef that has been cured in a brine solution, typically made with water, salt, and various spices such as peppercorns, mustard seeds, and bay leaves. The name "corned" comes from the Old English word "corn, " which refers to the large grains of salt used to cure the beef.

Love how the boys sit so calmly at their table waiting to be served. They know Chels or Mom always cooks & bakes great food! Love 2 Cavies in Sarasota 🐕🐕

I'm really glad that y'all put in the time and effort to research what dogs can and can't have, unfortunately a lot of people don't do that nor do they care ❤

Corned beef is salt-cured brisket. The name comes from the large grains of rock salt (also called 'corns') which are used to treat the beef.

Chelsea, I love how you always try to naturally color things with the pigment found in different vegetables. Cooper and Koda eat well 😊❤ I love your creativity in the kitchen, your cooking episodes are some of my favorite.

The main things in corned beef, besides the beef, are the herbs and spices. From the list of herbs I saw that's typically in the "corned" mix, nothing harmful seems present (taking into the account the dog is healthy, not pregnant, or not on any medications). If you feed a raw diet, then a bit of sea salt is great for the added minerals...if feeding kibble, that's a different story. And garlic, in small amounts, can be great for dogs on a raw diet (from what I've learned, it's supposed to be a natural flea and tick repellent....look on the flea & tick oral medications ingredient list....garlic tends to be on the ones I've seen).

This is just what I've learned since switching my dog to a raw fed diet. Not at all any kind of advice.

This is a really cute idea, though!! I gave my dog a few carrots and some sauerkraut with his dinner on St. Patty's day!!! :D

I can only imagine how much stinky gas will be expelled by these boys at bedtime 😂😂😂.
I love how much effort Chelsea goes to for Koda & Coop’s dining pleasures! It’s a work of ❤️.
