Also, authentic soy sauce tastes a bit sweet and not salty. If they werent that expensive, I would buy it every week!

I remember my mom bringing us to ine of her old friends at a traditional soy sauce manufacturer like this. It was impressive to see all the big clay pots in various stages of developement. This was almost 42 years ago and i was almost 3 years old. So cool that this still excists now ❤

One year?!?!?! But the results are absolutely amazing!! I’m Mexican and I’ve fissioned soy sauce and I rarely use salt anymore, why only use salt when you can make the dish go to a higher level using soy sauce! Same applies to many other traditional Chinese cuisine items!

Actually chinese accidentally invented soy sauce when a cook forgot about his soybeans and it got mouldy. Trying to salvage it he tried to soak it in salted water to clean the mould off.
