This is why your channel will always be my NUMBER ONE SOURCE for homeownership. It’s the authenticity, transparency, and education for me! Thank you!

Talk the truth lady!!! I so appreciate it!!! Nothing like context for what is actually going on. I'm working on helping 50 families become homeowners by 2022.

Teach!!! People need to understand the real reason why these inequities exist. I’m so tired of hearing the “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” comment when the boots were purposely stripped from black Americans.

FINALLY, thank you for addressing the systemic racism & redlining. I watched others skate right past this historical fact and act confused about the terms of this 25k proposal.

I bought my second house for $650, 000 in a white neighborhood, most of my neighbor being hating my house since i bought it, but guess what! If they want me to leave, one of them will have to offer me $300, 000 on top of the $650, 000 and then I might consider it moving to another white neighborhood and do the same!!! HA HA HA!

Thanks for the info! Blessings

This was needed. So many people including Youtubers in the real estate business didn't understand the history of housing in America.

I don't know how you came up on my feed however, I'm glad you did. I love learning about our history and you have given an abundance of information in a short period of time. I appreciate you sis.

Speak the truth. My husband and I moved to the Bay Area temporarily for my job and this past weekend we meet a gentleman from San Francisco who stated from 1940-1960 African Americans were not approved for FHA loans. With that being said African Americans make up 6% of San Francisco’s population.
Thank you

You are so right. When I purchased my home last year I couldn't use. 1st time home buyer.17, 000 FHA (Surprised? ) At closing I was even told. the neighbors tried to block the sale They we're told it was ilegal. In 2020 this was shocking for me

The history is super important! And honestly (I'm not a realtor or anything, so im just speaking my opinion) some of the fear mongering I've seen about it pushing the markets up further is unwarranted, imo. I'm in the midwest & starter homes honestly haven't changed that much- it's the larger homes that have skyrocketed. So yes, this will push up demand a little, but not any more than the property investors who snap up small homes to turn into rentals. I think that's the real problem bc it keeps a lot of people out of the market.

I love the explanation, it was very informative. I think this is a great Bill to help build wealth among the the black community. The only concern I have is the first generation qualification.
Some people have parents with homes, but they never taught them how to get wealth. The lack of education still hurts that 2nd generation home buyer. I think they should take a closer look at that specific qualification.
Just my thoughts.
