NewSonic Leeb D Handheld Probe on an Axle and Shaft

The NewSonic SONO-D Leeb D Handheld Probe is ideal for hardness testing applications involving heat treated, non-heat treated, and heavy components. The Leeb D Probe also tests steel alloys like P91. When paired with the NewSonic SonoDur 3, the Leeb D Probe provides a well-rounded hardness testing solution. This probe connects via Bluetooth and meets ASTM A956, ISO 16859, GB/T 17394 standards. In this demonstration, we test in multiple hardness scales that are selectable on the SonoDur 3, which meets ASTM A 1038 and DIN 50159-1 and 2 standards.
