It's an unfortunate situation but I think Tom Cotton has some reasonable points. Democrats might be wise to vote for his proposal ASAP as it keeps the children here and it isn't asking for wall money or stop and frisk legislation.

Yes, Senator Cotton, if your bill is designed to "mitigate the consequences", will you also ensure that it will mitigate the tax revenues and non-monetary contributions these young adults have already generated for their communities and in turn the country (much of this which ends up redistributed to poor states like yours)?
