The look and feel of the grapes piece is very French in my eyes. But I can see the English moors in the background.

🤗 Looking at the Mayflower before adding 1620 and after adding 1620 it makes it look more finished with the addition.
On the other piece— stitch the ship!!

The mayflower piece is so pretty I love watching your progress on grapes it looks just like a painting. On the norwegian piece I would start on the ship. I bought your tree a while back to stitch next year its going to be so much fun.

I put my projects in an artists portfolio and had a cover quilted. It’s beautiful. Now I feel no pressure to frame.

If it was me I would start the ship. Having a little peak of the sails or mast would get me more excited to go back and work on the piece. Similar to when you start with the face of a Mirabilia so you have something beautiful to look at when stitching the rest. ❤️

What about lazy daisy stitches or padded satin stitches for the leaves? And sometimes using queen stitches can fill in an area or be substituted for petals or leaves. Number 5 is really pretty. It looks like it could be made into a biscornu.
