A million thanks for this in depth look at this TX, and for the run through the menu system. It doesn't feel quite as daunting now to learn how to use one of these! It may be a while before I actually need to use it, but once I have one I'm part way there! Just waiting now for my daughter to give me the nod to get it. Again, my appreciation to you Pete! Thanks for the detailed review. I Just bought one yesterday once I saw it is backward compatible with ACCST as well (D16). Looks like to battery with the charger is a great deal too as I was thinking of using a 2S battery.

Hello, sir! This transmitter dont support d8. Will I have any problems with tiny whoops like mobula7, that uses d8 protocol? Or if I'll buy multiprotocol module which supports d8 - It will be ok to fly that tiny whoops? What about long-range modules? Which one to choose to fly far away?

You don't need to flash any D16 rxs anymore, update the internal rf to accst D16 from frsky. Also nightly 2.3 builds restore xfire support.
