This series when it first appeared sparked interest by my Mother (Who was a Police Ofiicer with my My father) in her Dutch ancestry.

Great series in an unusual setting. However, if Van Der Valk's wife is just celebrating her 45th. birthday, how is it she has, what appears to be a 30-year-old son? A very young mother? :-)

Have a real problem with the dialogue. Why no subtitles??? Enjoyed the rare episode that has subtitles.

This doesn't look like the same actress who played his wife in the earlier seasons....not just older, but different: This one has a mouth 👄 like "Kermit The 🐸
