Statement C is absolutely correct because in the question, type A spermatogonia is given i.e., stem cells are given which divides continuously. Whereas in ncert, nly type B spermatogonia is given i.e., the precursor of sperms which differentiation into primary spermatocytes, divide periodically.
Also in the question they didnt mention whether it is mitotic or meiotic division. So generally we assume it to be mitotic division nly, which is not exhibited by the ones mentioned in ncert.

And another common sense approach to this question is to read the given question properly. In the question it is given that "Which of the following statements are true for spermatogenesis but DO NOT HOLD TRUE FOR OOGENESIS." By using simple elimination method, we can easily eliminate Statement (d), which holds true for both spermatogenesis and oogensis. And at last we can easily reach the most appropriate option for this qstn..

Idk why no one is giving a thought before making a video about challenging this particular question. Simply for name sake they make a video and in the end, students are nly gonna simply waste their money challenging this qstn hoping that they will get +5 for this question from their acutual mark.

I have some queries friends
1)2 questions in Botany and 2 in zoology and 1 in chemistry seems to have no right answer. But i have spent more time in those retrying them again and getting confused.Yeah, i could have left those confusing Q to check at last. But my conscience was not smart enough to do that. And at the end I'm the sufferer ending up with lack of time to complete the paper.(Couldn't NTA give us a errorless paper, considering the level of the exam🤐)
2)The exam is over and NTA is ought to publish the recorded OMR and answer key.(Can't the NTA specify the date of release prior to that)
3)Finally the OMR response and the answer key are published. Now we can challenge the recorded OMR by paying money(where error may occur due to technical glitch. So it can be accepted.)Now we can also challenge the Answer key it seems.(But why must i again pay for an obviously incorrect question from NTA side🤐)
What do u think?

hello sir, Spermiation is correct sir. Developing spermatids will live by attaching itself to the sertoli cells. spermiation means mature sperms are released from the sertoli cells into the lumen of semniferous tubules.

when glucose is converted to pyruvic acid ____ number of ATP synthesised directly is 2, BUT "NET GAIN OF ATP IS 8 [ 10-2=8].... as the neet question mentions as NET GAIN, i believe 8 is the best answer.. am i wrong sir?

thomasavp

Sir, please look at this question as well...
What is the net gain of ATP when each molecule of glucose is converted to two molecules of pyruvic acid?
According to NTA, the answer is 2 ATP.
What I reasoned was that the 2 NADH2 molecules will be converted into 3 ATP each, making a total of 3 + 3 + 2 = 8 ATP = the real net gain of ATP.
Am I right or wrong?
