1) Mourinho never said that Sevilla’s starting 11 was better, he said there are players that would play for his team
2) He’s not trying to divert attention, he’s pointing out facts. We need to stop expecting to win the prem and champions league every season when we’ve not been playing well for the past 7 years. We’re comparing ourselves to teams in better situations that us. You can’t blame the manager all the time, especially when he buys players capable of improving our squad and they don’t turn up.

Jose is right. The expectations of Man United fans is a bit bizarre. In the past 5 years Man United hasn’t been a good team. I can’t recall the last time Man United was 2nd in the league, the players he inherited from the previous managers are rubbish to be honest. He had and has to work with mediocre players.
And the fact that he spent $300million, let’s break it down. The transfer market is over inflated right now especially in the EPL so OBVIOUSLY any top club would have to spend an audacious amount of money to acquire talent. Jose’s investments have been superb so far- Baily, Lukaku, Matic and Pogba. They’ve been superb on their day.
Jose is bringing Man United back to the top but it’s gonna be a slow process, ppl have to be patient.
I agree that his style of football is less entertaining and it hinders the attacking prowess of the players.
All in all, Jose is doing a fine job in my opinion but he should modify his tactics and encourage the players to attack more.
