Thanks for these tips Bill, especially the one about wetting the paper for the soft sea effects. I always like the simple skies you do but they are so effective at the same time

Except for the yellow, that's pretty much a monochromatic painting, something I've never tried and I'm a little afraid to :) sort of, so thanks!
