Ole always looks upbeat, it's in his temperament. That's actually a blessing in disguise, a huge opportunity to give youngsters a chance. It's make or break for both Sanchez, Lukaku who've been pish poor. IMHO Lukaku could start wide as he did at Arsenal while Rashford must start up top. Sanchez can operate on the left. Chong would be a great option off the bench. I also hope we see Fred too.

A lack of investment isn't the problem, it's the awful recruitment that's been going on for years.
It would be better for the club to have miki and depay still there rather than the lukaku and Sanchez. How was selling Daley Blind a good idea? Ajax use him as a first choice centre back. We've brought in multiple right backs in Darmian and Dalot and yet we play neither. Matic is now too old and doesn't have the legs so needs to be replaced already.

We passed on mane, firminio, wijnaldum, de Jesus, mbappe, to name a few, and spent millions recruiting rubbish.

A proper director of football is vital at this point!

The year that Lukaku came to United he said he was faster than Rashford and Rashford said it was possible. A few years ago, starting players were injured and the manager had no choice to use academy players. And what happened? Marcus Rashford happened. So who knows? Lukaku and Sanchez may grab the opportunity or Chong and Gomes may flourish.

We should take a leaf out of PSG's book against Liverpool and play Dalot at rw and Young at rb with Fred on the lw. It would add the pace, power and tenacity that Mata and Sanchez don't seem to have anymore and make us more solid defensively. We'll still be weaker on attack obviously that if Martial and Lingard are available but we aren't losing anything as Sanchez and Mata aren't providing going forward. Thoughts?

We should play 3-1-4-2 formation without Mata and switch to 4-3-1-2 or 3-4-1-2 formation, when Mata is in the first XI, so Mata can play behind the 2 strikers.

I'm Liverpool but i like all fan channels etc. Goldbridge is fair & says it as it is. I think your injuries will affect how you defend against us too. You need pace to go forward & defend. Rashford is your star man but you need others around him & i think you'll be vulnerable defensively.

Mark to be honest bro. I’m really worried about what we will do in the summer. I just don’t trust Woodward. It’s embarrassing to watch the level of city, juve and PSG then look at the set of players we have. United should not be a club that is majorly affected by injuries when a couple of our top players are out. We need to improve our squad and have players fighting for every spot on the field. Personally, id go for a 4-4-2 diamond against Chelsea, i think its a good opportunity to give fred abit of game time while having the protection of Herrera, Pogba and Matic next to him, he can also offer us alot of energy in terms of pressing which we will need as Lukaku lacks it.


Before someone says "Play Chong, play Greenwood etc" Greenwood is injured and i cant see Chong starting a big game against Chelsea.

This may sound ridiculous but id love to keep the 433 and put pogba on the left to cut in and do his business he goes out that side quite a bit and it think it would work and then try chong out the right with rashford up front and then we can finally give fred a chance
