A 100ct Nobby Opal, will it bring me obstacles or opportunities?
A piece of rough this big can make for an exciting cut.
However, you never know what is lurking below the surface.
Will we find inclusions, will the gem face?

40yrs ago my dad traveled to Australia for work as an engineer. He brought back to me a pair of black Opal earrings. I still have mine & my mother’s pair. This video reminds me I need to wear them more often

He never fails, like old man river, Justin keeps rolling on. Thank you Maestro for another beautiful journey. That purple was royal.

That is the most gorgeous opal to my eye. I love purple and the subtle lower key colour is really attractive to me.

I no longer have favourites. Opals are like horses. A good horse is never a " bad" colour!! LOL. Hi all at BOD and viewers. Greetings from Victoria, Australia.

My 1st black opal was seen when I was 16 visiting my aunt in Cleveland OH. She took me to a museum and it was pure red and black! it was huge and rough! from then on red fire in black! I do have a small one! thank you Justin for what you do! I have 3 from you!

Im a gemhead. I enjoyed watching your artistry on the raw stone. Opal has always been my favorite. I wear a sharp opal pendent every day.
I'll keep watching ✌️

WOW, holy finish on that
So Justin, my favorite color is Blue. Many artist associate Blue as their favorite color...

I've got a sales pitch for those. "Diamonds maybe a girls best friend but men will always appreciate a good Nobby. A timeless classic."

I'm with you, Justin. I love the blues and greens. They seem to have so much depth to them. I know that everyone loves the red and orange, but the blues and greens look like a deep, mysterious ocean. My favorite pattern might be a little boring too. I really like chaff and pinfire.

All opals are beautiful. I really loved the way the color hid and flashed on that stone. Another beauty Justin 😊 I really love the crystal opals. I like the way the light passes through them.

I really like the stones that are mostly black with flashes of color, very nice.

Personally, I find opals so much more interesting and beautiful to look at than diamonds

You are like the bob ross of the gem world, so soothing to watch. Bob ross paintings look rough in the beginning and turn out masterpieces. Great fun to watch.

This is one of the prettiest opals I've watched you cut and I've watched every YouTube cutting video you have... No one would complain with more vidos😂
