Started with the harness 4 days ago for the first time. Fully planing and comitting to the harness was difficult, but once you feel the sweet spot. I have so much fun with planing in the harness now. Last thing to do tacking and jibes

It seems kiteboarding ha windsurfing is like snowboard vs ski(respectively).
Kiteboarding is very hard and can be very scary at the beginning, but after you get the hang of it, the progress is so fast.
Windsurfing on other hand, at the beginning can be quite easier and not that much every, but when you get into the board loops and get hang on the harness is so difficult.
I personally tried both went with quite boarding, reminds me of snowboarding abit

This video really shows the beauty of our sport and the commitment you need to improve and keep going. I have been a beginner for long time, zero improvement for over 2 years but I really felt attached to the sport, then in less than one month I proved to myself I could be a great windsurfer. Now I am competing in the nationals and aiming for even bigger events. Hang loose everybody and keep pushing, you'll get where you want to get🤙🏻🏄🏻‍♂️

I just started windsurfing again. I tried some when I was 10-13 years old, but I grew out of my gear and lost motivation as I was too small to do beach starts and had to reel up the sail everytime I fell. Now I'm 25 and have had two days out surfing so far. I already learnt to beach start now and I feel some actual progression. The struggle is what makes the rewards so sweet. Good video, it really cemented my mindset on advancing :)
