Eufy for the win. I think the Eufy S340 is the best battery camera out currently. This camera it definitely looks like you get what you pay for. It could be better with firmware updates. Once again great video Lifehackster. Cya on the next one.

I have 2 of their cameras and they’re good enough. Being the 1st time I bought cameras I didn’t want to spend too much, and the 2nd of the camera is mainly to keep tabs on our cat whose being adventurous lately. However I will probably upgrade for better ones in the far future.

I purchased this and ran it for about a week. I was less than impressed with it. It has some great ideas, but comes up short on their implementation. I ended up returning it and getting 2 eufy s340's. Yes, it cost a little more, but they are far superior in my opinion.

Thanks for this review, but I'll likely take a pass on this camera. On a complete seperate note, is there any chance you would or could take a re-visit of the nest floodlight cam? Since i'm moving to ADT for home security I want to see if the floodlight cam has made any improvements on the cool off and also the "Home" app redesign to see if it is more user friendly. Another great review. The complexity of tracking cameras appears to be their weak point. The tracking on my Reolink failed pretty quickly while the rest of the camera continues to function well. My solution; multiple non-tracking cameras which cover the full area with higher reliability for the same cost. I should add that I'm in upstate NY where the weather is much more challenging.

I had their C9C that I recently requested a replacement cause it couldn't charge at all, I always had to charge it every 4-5 days. I receive a good amount of sun(up to 8 hours of bright sun directly to the panel).

One thing I hate about Aosu is because they do miss a lot of functions on their app. I guess for the price you paid it is what to be expected. I can't change the recording interval from each motion, you don't have a saved return to position, and you can't choose a specific amount of time when motion is detected.

Fun fact, you don't even have detection zone on this model, which is a software option that can easily be added.

The only one I would have recommendedrecommended from Aosu would be their floodlight and the C7L model. For my need, I would move on to Eufy or Reolink.

Nice Job LH, but why they all avertise super high resoultion like 1080p 2K etc but the images always looks grainy and bad?

I bought two of these, and now it's August with little sun here. My question is whether this will work in the upcoming winter. If it doesn't, then I didn’t make a good deal. Also, the battery shows as low after just one hour of use.

I installed mine and had the app set up in 20min., picture quality is high with option to lower it. Sensitivity is adjustable as well as its default resting position and more. I wonder if they are going to force me to pay to use app in future? Otherwise so far its free

I am looking for an outdoor camera with solar for our apartment building. The tricky part is getting a wifi. Do you know if this camera requires wifi or can I take it out of wifi range once set up? Thank you!
